Background
I’m Hannah Edgett, a Vancouver-based beautician and founder of Glam by Edgett. Beauty has always been at the heart of what I do. Anything that helps people express themselves and feel confident has naturally drawn me in from a young age.
My journey began in high school, experimenting with makeup and discovering the creative side of beauty. Around the same time, I was lucky to work at a family friend’s nail salon, where I learned the foundations of nail care and artistry. I’ve been doing nails since 2018, and that early experience shaped many of the skills I still use today.
After graduating, I studied psychology in college. While I enjoyed it, I realized my true passion was in the beauty industry. I made the decision to move to Vancouver on my own and train professionally at the Blanche Macdonald Centre, where I completed the Global Makeup Program.
From there, I continued building new skills, training in permanent makeup including microblading, nanobrows, brow tinting, and lip blushing, as well as waxing. I love these services because the changes are subtle and personalized, yet they can make a real difference in how someone feels about themselves.
I’ve been a client for years and have never left disappointed. Hannah is creative, talented, and genuinely cares about making her clients feel confident and beautiful.
Approach
I’ve always believed that success comes from hard work. I started helping around the salon at 12 years old, cleaning and booking appointments. By 14, I was learning nail techniques that helped shape my career. That work ethic has stayed with me and guides Glam by Edgett today.
I’m proud of what I’ve built, and grateful for the chance to share my passion with you.
Goal
I don't know if it's a motto or a mantra, but I know one thing: confidence changes everything.
And my goal is for you to leave feeling more confident than when you arrived. By enhancing what’s already there, not hiding who you are.
Glam by Edgett is much more than a beauty studio. It is a welcoming, safe space where people can relax, feel pampered, and leave feeling like the best version of themselves.
